Final Project Check-In #2

After spending a while working on the rough draft of my Neatline exhibit, I showed up to class with only a barebones version of the project. I had mostly only written the text boxes on a separate GoogleDoc and had been drafting it for a while before actually converting it into Neatline. Once I finally transferred it into Neatline, I felt slightly better after I had added them and could see it. However, after walking into class and doing the activity to see everyone else's drafts, I realized I was slightly behind and needed to make a lot of edits on my project. So, I began working in class and carried this work into the library after class for the next couple of hours. I added more text than I had originally had, considering other peoples' work analyzed the texts to a deeper level. After some more research, I could give a better analysis of the book and relate it to the theme much better. Once, the text had been added, I then found pictures of the texts' titles with citations and created a separate waypoint for each one on Neatline to give viewers a picture of what the real book would look like. I also added pictures of what the area would look like or what the author described it as.

However, there is still a lot to do. I have only made upgrades to two out of the four texts, so I still have two more to do. `I also want to add a better introduction and fix small bugs like where the viewer opens the exhibit to. I want to add a section on Home Fire so viewers can get a sense of why I chose to do this topic. Researching this topic has overall been very rewarding and I'm grateful I got a chance to do this project to learn about something I'm truly passionate about.
