Final Project Update

I am definitely slightly behind in terms of final project work. I haven't had time to meet with either Michelle or Kelci to finalize my final project topic. I have a bad problem of procrastination and this project holds no exception. However, I want to try to break this habit and aim to make sure my topic is finalized by this week. I want to do research on David Ruggles and his print shop and anti-slavery bookstore. The Mirror Liberty greatly interests me and I want to learn more about his connection to the underground railroad. The Mirror of Liberty was also a journal in Massachusetts, which is where I'm from, so I think I could maybe understand the geography pretty well and would be able to visualize it. This week I am definitely going to set up a meeting with Michelle and hopefully actually begin researching this topic.
